Brita Brookes is a member of the Detroit Artists Workshop Steering Committee. With a background in arts, design and a Master Degree in Architecture from Harvard University, Brita was highly influenced by the Beat Generation and the Black Mountain College for the Arts movement. Also a hobby photographer who shoots in documentary style, Brita is a fan of Leni Sinclair's photos. As Construction Manager for the Walbridge Aldinger Company, Brita is currently working on Super Bowl downtown improvements with potential opportunities for all types of artistic involvement once things get going.
